Review by hotel critic
Nestled in a charming location, the Arrivals offers a unique experience for travelers keen on exploring culinary delights. During my recent stay, I took pleasure in the thoughtfully designed rooftop bar, which provides breathtaking views of the iconic Bitexco Tower. Sipping my drink while soaking in the skyline felt like a slice of Melbourne amidst the vibrant cityscape. The hotel's restaurant stands out for its diverse breakfast offerings, blending both Western and Asian influences. I particularly appreciated the balance of flavors, which catered to a variety of palates. The lobby lounge provided a laid-back atmosphere, complemented by live music, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Despite the hotel's ongoing renovations, which showed promise for the future, I encountered some issues with the service. While some staff displayed warmth and attentiveness, others seemed indifferent to my concerns regarding noise disturbances from reconstruction. The responses lacked the level of engagement one might expect from a '4-star' residence, albeit I received a complimentary gesture from a delightful receptionist. The Arrivals presents an interesting blend of culinary experiences and potential for future growth. I look forward to seeing how they evolve, especially seeking a gourmet escape.
